    Abe Reese is the Founder and President of Aspex Solutions. A software engineer by training, Reese has been responsible for the development of many of Aspex Solutions' processes and systems as well as the principal development of our flagship product, AppliTrack. Currently, he oversees the daily operations of the company including our financial planning and management, the development and continuous improvement of our customer support team, the system analysis and architecture of the AppliTrack product as well as providing the overall leadership and business goals of Aspex Solutions.

    Prior to Aspex Solutions, Abe was a senior programmer for United Stationers, a leading office supply and distribution firm. Reese's formal education is from Northern Illinois University where he graduated with his Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. In addition, Reese was a founding member of the Making Managers into Leaders (MMIL) Institute and is a qualified Web Solutions Microsoft Partner.

    Corey Maxey is a Vice President of Operations at Aspex Solutions. He has over 10 years of IT experience in a variety of industries and roles. Currently, he contributes to both application development and product support. Additionally, he is responsible for our technology infrastructure. Prior to joining Aspex Solutions, Corey worked for the University of Illinois, Lucent Technologies and as a technology consultant.

    Corey graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in Computer Science.

    Keith Westman is the VP of Sales and Marketing for Aspex Solutions. In this position, Keith is responsible for the marketing and positioning of Aspex Solutions as a brand, and AppliTrack as a product. He also serves as a sales manager to thirteen regional sales representatives that are located throughout the United States.

    Prior to working at Aspex Solutions, Keith spent ten years in the field of education. Most recently, Keith served as a middle school principal in suburban Chicago. Prior to the principalship, Keith was an elementary school district Technology Coordinator and a third grade teacher. In addition to his role at Aspex Solutions, Keith serves as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Education at DePaul University. Keith has a Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago, a Masters Degree in Education from DePaul University, and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from National-Louis University.

    Lead Assessment Researcher

    Dr. John Arnold has over 20 years of providing consulting services to leading companies. Prior to joining Aspex Solutions, John was a senior vice president in the Human Resources Consulting Group of Aon Consulting, where he directed the U.S. consulting practice and provided account management services to a number of high-visibility national and international clients.

    John Arnold has over 20 years of consulting experience in the areas of personnel selection and classification, assessment center design and development, and organizational research. Having directed numerous projects with a U.S., as well as international scope, Dr. Arnold is a recognized expert by many of the Fortune 500. Of particular significance is his work in the redesign of salaried and hourly assessment systems for the automotive "Big Three" and the direction of multiple large-scale consortium studies. As one example, the largest of these studies involved the coordination of a nationwide consortium of 63 companies to develop and validate assessment systems for use throughout the insurance and financial services industry.

    Dr. Arnold has specialized in providing entry-level hiring systems to companies with large populations of front-line employees. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are only two of the many companies serviced in this arena. John has also provided extensive pro bono services in the not-for-profit sector and he continues to provide free and reduced-cost services to the "not-for profit" sector as an important part of his ongoing professional (and personal) commitment.

    Dr. Arnold holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Bowling Green State University. His graduate education focused on issues involving personnel selection and assessment, as well as the measurement of employee attitudes, motivation and abilities. John is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Among his many contributions to the professional field, he has served as the President of the Michigan Association of Industrial/Organizational Psychologists.

    Dr. Arnold has published and presented a number of professional papers, including publication in the Journal of Applied Psychology and presentations at the national conferences of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

    Dr. Marvin Feinberg worked in Chicago area public school systems for 34 years, most recently, as Assistant Superintendent for Personnel in Park Ridge - Niles CCSD 64 in Park Ridge, Illinois. Prior to this position, Marv worked as a Superintendent, Principal and classroom teacher. Marv was Aspex Solutions' first client.

    Marv holds a Doctoral degree from Northwestern University, a Masters degree from Northeastern Illinois University, a Bachelors degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has completed coursework at the DePaul University School of Law.

    Dr. Fred Schroeder is a Founding Associate of Aspex Solutions and has been working in this capacity since his retirement after 34 years in public education. Most recently, Fred served as Superintendent of Schools in Park Ridge-Niles School District 64 (AppliTrack's first client). Prior to the superintendency, Fred served as an Assistant Superintendent, Principal, and Middle School teacher. In addition to working with Aspex Solutions, Fred is a Senior National Consultant for Hazard, Young, and Attea, the largest Superintendent Search firm in the country.

    A graduate of the University of Illinois, Dr. Schroeder is married to Dr. Dot M. Weber, also a retired Superintendent of Schools and past Illinois State Superintendent of the Year, and lives in Grand Lake, Colorado. An instrument rated pilot, Fred enjoys spending his free time flying to see his four children and four grandchildren.

    Scott Macdonald, before joining Aspex Solutions, was the Director of Human Resources and In-House Labor/Employment Counsel for two of the largest school districts in Connecticut, Attorney in the Labor/Employment Litigation departments for Shipman & Goodwin and Pepe & Hazard in Connecticut, and Attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in the Appellate Court Branch in Enforcement Litigation as well as the Injunction Litigation Branch.

    Scott holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was an Articles Editor on the North Carolina Law Review. He obtained a B.A. with Honors in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was Phi Beta Kappa. In 2003, Scott earned his Senior Professional in Human Resource Management Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. He serves on the Executive Board of the Connecticut Association of School Personnel Administrators, and is a member of the Connecticut State Bar Association, Labor and Employment Section.

    Bill Trost is a Senior Associate for Aspex Solutions and was AppliTrack's first client in the state of Ohio. Most recently, Bill served as Personnel Administrator for Shaker Heights City School District, where he previously served as a high school Assistant Principal and mathematics teacher. An active member of AASPA, the Ohio Minority Recruitment Consortium, the Cleveland Area Minority Educator Recruitment Association, and OASPA/OAEE, Bill was recognized as Ohio Personnel Administrator of the Year in 1999.

    Bill has an Education Specialist degree from Cleveland State University, a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Counseling and Administration from John Carroll University. Bill and his wife Mary live in Oberlin, Ohio and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

    Larry Lobert has been in the field of education for 30 years. He served as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Labor Relations at Grosse Point Public Schools through 2007, before accepting an offer to go to New Trier High District #203. In 2009, Larry formed his own school human resources consulting company through which he performs a variety of consulting services to the current day. Beginning in 2006, Larry worked with Dr. John Arnold in the development of the Polaris teacher and support staff inventories, which were acquired by Aspex Solutions in 2010. He now works with Aspex Solutions as a Senior Associate in addition to the Illinois based school search firm, School Exec Connect.

    Dr. Lowell Ghosey spent 32 years in Kansas public school systems serving as a teacher, building principal, and, most recently, as Executive Director of Human Resources in Olathe Public Schools. Lowell was the first AppliTrack client in the State of Kansas.

    In addition to his work with Aspex Solutions, Lowell serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Baker University where he teaches in the Educational Leadership program.

    Dr. Dot Weber retired after 35 years as an educator in Illinois. The last 13 years of her career were sent as a superintendent, after having been a teacher, principal, and central office administrator. She earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois and was a trainer and facilitator during her years as an administrator.

    Dot's very happy to be representing AppliTrack, a product that brings added value to school districts. Look for her at the Aspex Solutions' booth at conferences across the country.

    Mary Colton joined Aspex Solutions after serving for 35 years in public and private education in Michigan, most recently as the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services for Zeeland Public Schools. Along with being a Senior Associate with Aspex Solutions, Mary serves as an Adjunct Consultant with the Michigan Association of School Boards in the area of Labor Relations.

    Mary has a MA in Educational Leadership & a MA in Counseling and Personnel from Western Michigan University.

    Tom Morgan is the President of Morgan & Associates, Inc. He has over three decades as a school district leader. He is utilizing his 29 years of working with the Ventures for Excellence selection and development systems to help other school professionals. He uses his knowledge of current literature and research to practically help human resource specialists. His expertise enables his clients to raise their selection and development of school personnel to create world-class learning organizations. He believes Morgan & Associates is the next generation of people, tools, products, and systems to partner with school leaders in selection, development HR Center assessment, and international on-line application/screening systems.

    Tom served 22 years as the assistant superintendent for human resources within the Pattonville School District. This district is located in St. Louis suburbs. Through his leadership in human resources, Pattonville has become highly recognized throughout the entire region for selecting outstanding teachers, support staff, and administrators. His work includes collaborating with district administrators in the selection of nearly 700 teachers and over 100 administrators. These highly qualified professionals are very diverse and committed educators. Their influence spreads beyond the school district into several communities statewide. This district is recognized as one of only a few districts in the state to receive "Distinction in Performance" for nine consecutive years. This racially and culturally diverse community is recognized as one of the highest student achieving districts in the state.

    Tom began his career as a science teacher. A few years later he joined the University of Iowa where he held positions as lecturer, instructor and coordinator for four years, while completing his Ph.D. in Education. For eight years he held district leadership positions in school districts in Iowa and Wyoming, prior to moving to Missouri. In addition, he has worked internationally with educators in Russia and South America. In each of these roles, Tom has placed his major emphasis on selecting and developing employees within the organization.

    Tom is a person with tremendous family commitment. He and his wife, Dianne, have been married over 40 years and have two grown children and four grandchildren. Dianne works in accounting and provides care for their grandchildren. Their daughter is an elementary teacher and their son is in the golf business.

    Before Morgan & Associates, Tom worked collectively with his team of human resource colleagues to refine the work of the human resource center in Pattonville. As a result of this success in Pattonville, he has been asked to make presentations at national meetings and has frequently provided training to other school professionals in excess of 20 years.

    Paul Montgomery joins Aspex Solutions from Dallas-based Combined Computer Resources (Winocular) where he has served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the past 10 years. In this role, Paul oversaw the rapid growth of the second most popular HR software for the K12 market, the Winocular suite of HR solutions. Additionally, Paul has developed mobile marketing initiatives and technologies for Triskelet Technologies. In addition to Paul's work with Winocular, Paul was the Director Sales for CRS Advanced Technologies (SubFinder), one of Aspex Solution's partners.

    Matt Barclay came to Aspex Solutions in April 2008. He brought a wealth of customer service experience to the table, from a variety of industries. His background is mainly in IT service and support- infrastructure support and development, large scale rollouts, asset management, systems analysis and architecture. He has also developed and maintained web content for a variety of applications. His experience is not limited to the technical sphere- he also has experience in university admissions, and in creative and developmental roles in a variety of other areas. This background has given him the knowledge, empathy, and patience required to provide first-class technical support for the education sector.

    Matt Conzen began with Aspex Solutions in February 2010 as a member of the Technical Support team. He brought with his experience in customer service and support from the university and non-profit industries to help provide AppliTrack customers with first-class technical support. His experience in a wide variety of project areas such as infrastructure, development, database engineering, and systems administration brings the knowledge required to provide well-rounded technical support from a variety of different angles.

    Henri Dugas, IV is a native of Louisiana's Atchafalaya Basin, is the Director of Recruiting and Training with Aspex Solutions. He brings with him a broad array of experiences as programmer for a mass national answering service, Pronto Connections, as well as large scale production experience from The Show Department. His theatrical performance experience is vast and makes him a delight to work with should you ever have the need.

    He is glad to be part of such a well organized and growing organization. He thanks this Alma Mater, UL Lafayette, for equipping him with the skills necessary to meets the business demands of every school district.

    Kristen Graff is the new Business Office Manager and New Client Service Specailist for Aspex Solutions. With her she brought a wealth of customer service skills to help provide AppliTrack users with prompt, efficient, and pleasant support. Previously, she worked for a Japanese Food Service Group, handling several clients worldwide; as well as assisting in the management and development of a small athletic business. In her psychology major, her emphasis included Industrial/Organizational, utilizing her knowledge to promote a cohesive work environment. Also, she devotes some of her free time to volunteer efforts with the BBBSMC as well as other local, not-for-profit organizations. Kristen holds a Bachelor's in Psychology at Northeastern Illinois University.

He spent the first decade of his career in the Payroll field, where he worked to provide excellent support to his customers. He worked at the Art Institute of Chicago for the last 5 years, overseeing the day to day operations of the Payroll department. Born and raised in Kenosha, WI, Jason currently lives in Chicago, where two of his primary hobbies are seeing live music and reading.

One of the main responsibilities of Lori's previous position with School District 64 Park Ridge/Niles prior to joining Aspex was as administrator of various databases, including AppliTrack. Lori brings this real world user experience into each client interaction.

    A long-time resident of Chicago, Lori enjoys reading, spending time with her children, volunteering and is an avid hockey fan... GO HAWKS!!!

David's background is mainly in Web Development with a large variety of support roles for various organizations.

    When not in the office, David spends his time at the track, racing his highly customized lawnmower. He is also involved in photography and can be found with a camera near him most of the time.

    Originally from Ann Arbor, MI but arriving from the much warmer locale of Austin, Texas – David Henderson joined the Aspex Technical Support team in the summer of 2012. With over a decade of experience in the software simulation industry, David brings a plethora of development and engineering expertise to the Aspex environment. Majoring in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan with a concentration in propulsion and dynamics, he continues to practice the art of elevation on the basketball court.

    Brad began at Aspex Solutions in January or 2013. He is a bit of a wild card. His skill sets are wide and varied. Currently, he holds two degrees and is seeking A+ certification. Originally hailing from the east coast, and doing some time in St. Louis, he came to Chicago in 2005. After a getting his Bachelor's degree in Artist Management, a few independent projects, and some high paced customer service management under his belt, he set out to further broaden his skills. By June of 2011 he had a Master's in Business & Information Technology, experience with SQL, CSS, and HTML- as well as a respectable foot print in both the craft beer and music scenes around Chicago. Keep an eye out for him on his bike, at a show, or in the events section of your newspaper!

    Andrew Michael is a Technical Support Programmer and Developer on the Support and Development Team at Aspex Solutions. Having joined the company in February 2009, Andrew implements new features and improvements to the AppliTrack product. He also responds to customer requests for assistance by both phone and email.

    Andrew has spent the last 10 years working as a programmer. His work experience includes designing, developing, and implementing programs to collect information and process real-time transactions on behalf of large and small business and government customers. He has developed solutions for a variety of problems brought to him by customers with very tight deadlines.

    Asad Albu is a developer on the Development Team at Aspex Solutions. He joined Aspex Solutions in June 2012. Asad holds two academic degrees in computer science. In 2010, he graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor degree in Computer Information System. Then, because of his interest in E-commerce and web development, he decided to pursue another degree. So, he attended DePaul University in 2010 and graduated with a master degree in E-Commerce Technologies in March 2012.

    Asad is originally from Saudi Arabia. He was born in coastal city located in Persian Gulf called Alkhober. However, Asad grow up in another city called Saihat. It can be pronounced as "Sea-hat". Saihat was known as a city of fishing and agriculture. So, he likes fishing a lot. Asad used to go fishing with his father and he dreams to have a fishing boat in the future. Also, Asad likes to play indoor soccer in his free time. He participated with a team in DePaul University soccer league twice and got the 3rd place once!

    Zachary Srog joined the Aspex Solutions Development Team in March of 2013 as a developer. He received his formal education from Northern Illinois University where he graduated with both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Science in Computer Science. His primary focus of study was in enterprise computing and database design.
